The ELPO Barefoot Skills Course is a 3 Full Day event that starts each morning at 9:00 AM and will run until approximately 5:00 PM each day. The course may run slightly longer or shorter each day depending on the progress of hands-on sessions. The instructors will try to end the course a little earlier on Saturday if possible, but sometimes it does run until 5:00 PM. Please try to arrive about 30 minutes prior to the start time especially on the first day so that we are not delayed getting started. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to E-MAIL us.

Day 1: (9:00 AM Start)
Morning:
- Introductions
- Anatomy and Biomechanics Lecture
- Hoof Grading & Mapping demo and practice until lunch
Afternoon:
- Hoof Grading & Mapping until end of day
Day 2: (9:00 AM Start)
Morning:
- Demo & Hands-On Exfoliation
- Mapping lecture
- Map Exfoliated Feet
- Cut/Dissect Exfoliated Feet for evaluating accuracy and sole depth
Afternoon:
- Lectures on trimming distortions
- Drawing Feet Lecture
- Begin trimming distortions on cadavers
Day 3: (9:00 AM Start)
- Lectures (Topic TBD based on needs of students)
- Trim Cadavers all day (work on efficiency and accuracy)
