Darwin Kern: CNBBT, CNBF, CLS
Darwin is a farrier in northeastern South Dakota. He started shoeing horses professionally in 1983. Met Gene Ovnicek in 1994, started his certification process in 2006, received his CLS in 2008 and has been an active member and currently is an instructor and an examiner for the organization. Darwin has played an intricate role in providing radiograph technology to help validate the processes and protocols the organization shares to help in seeing the internal structures of a horse’s foot to help in managing balance. He enjoys coming to the courses to share his knowledge and passion for the industry.
